Are you kidding me? Nothing is like the season of Fall!

Okay, picture this. You wake up, get ready, and get a cozy Autumn outfit, it's a weekend, you talk with your family, and you decide to go outside and look around, you notice that the leaves have started changing, and it officially smells like fall! ONE OF THE BEST SEASONS OF THE YEAR!

When I, Nadia Martins, imagine fall in New England, I imagine the smell, the look, the taste! Well, not exactly the taste, you can’t physically taste Autumn, unless you are some sort of Alien. But you can mentally! I imagine waking up to the excitement of getting coffee with my family and friends at Phantom Farms, or Coffee Connection with Halloween decorations decorated all over the place in the Cafe, as well as homecoming games, and dressing up for them, walking around almost everywhere, picking pumpkins, and carving the funniest things on them, or watching the trees start to decay while I somehow finish my EXTRA hot coffee.

I do this tradition during the month of October that I can never seem to keep up with, that every day I watch at least one Halloween movie, and it HAS to be a comedy, if it's not funny, I don’t want to see it, nor hear it. Okay, Okay, I admit it, I’m too chicken to watch horror films. Every time I watch them, I think there is someone in my room staring me down while I sleep. Makes me want to throw up. Anyway, books are another thing I remember in my fall season, but it doesn’t make much of a difference to other seasons since I read quite a bit. Random question, have you ever made plans with your dad to Apple pick this fall year, and promised not to do it late or else you’ll hate yourselves for eternity? Wait, really? Because I have to! Every year. Yeah, me and my dad are pretty unorganized.

Overall, fall is the best season to just be yourself, and have fun! Dress up for Halloween, become Perry the Platypus, hang out with your friends, keep up with your academics, and create a dance to the ‘Monster Mash’ by Bobby “Boris” Picket. Fall doesn’t judge you. You do you! Make your own fall memories Mounties, because I'll be making mine.
